This page might not be a traditional book list.
I once put a lot of books here, starting with the phrase "recommend them if you want to read something". However, I came to interpret a 'book' page as something else. Reading itself is not meant to show others how talented you are, but to find out what you are passionate about. I've always been a fan of the phrase "If you want to know what you are passionate about, read what you love".
Previously, if I update all the books I've read and liked on this page, it somehow motivates me to read more. But that slowly made me focus on the quantity of books, not the quality. I shouldn't force myself to read books just to make the list longer. Reading should be calming and enjoyable, not a competition. That's what I came to believe in, and it worked (for now)! There are times where I read a lot, but sometimes I don't read anything for weeks.
If you really came to this page to find book recommendations (which I believe most of you don't), start reading my blogs :)! (unexpected twist, huh!)
Enough talks, this page is just some of my reflections on reading for now. Let's hope this change from book list to reflections will make me more comfortable when coming across this page in the future.

Recently started re-reading some good books.
This has turned out to be a great way of self-reflection. I encountered many spontaneous recoveries - I rediscovered many thoughts I had during my first reading months ago. It almost felt like talking to my past self.
There's also some sense of pleasure involved in this constant feedback loop. I experienced an improved understanding of my stance(s) on different scenarios in these books. The time-interval between the two reads also gave satisfaction of maintaining commitment.
